2026 Trustee Election InformationLago Vista ISD Board of Trustee elections are conducted each year in November. Applications for a place on the November 3, 2026 ballot will be accepted during regular office hours beginning July 20, 2026. The deadline to file for a Place on the election ballot is August 17, 2026 at 5:00pm in the Administration Office at 8039 Bar-K Ranch Rd.
Board positions are 3-year terms each representing the entire district. All eligible community members as specified in Board Policy BBA(Legal) may run for any place in a Board of Trustees election.

| First day candidates may file an Application for a Place on the Ballot for the Nov. 3, 2026 Board of Trustees Election is July 18, 2026. Since Lago Vista ISD offices are not open on weekends, applications can be submitted starting Monday, July 20, 2026, at 9:00am |
